Michael Alterman is a South Florida native, raised in Cooper City. He attended college at the University of Florida and law school at St. Thomas University. After graduating, Michael spent some time at a small firm in Delray Beach, FL working on personal injury and property damage cases. Following his time in Delray Beach, Michael spent some time in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania working on commercial litigation and predatory lending cases. Michael also passed both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar exams while he was located in Philly. In 2009, Michael returned to South Florida and began working at a firm in Plantation where he litigated foreclosure actions on behalf of many of the major banks. He has attended hearings in most of the counties throughout the state of Florida and has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in the foreclosure arena.
Brian Kowal, Esq. was born in Rochester, New York. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for his undergraduate education. Thereafter, he moved to South Florida to attend NovaSoutheastern for Law School. After graduating Law School, he worked for a firm in Aventura, Florida. At this firm, he focused mainly on Commercial and Civil Litigation matters and became responsible for managing the Collections Department. In 2009, Mr. Kowal worked for a Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There, Mr. Kowal represented Lenders and servicers throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Kowal has extensive Courtroom experience and has argued at various levels of the Florida Court System. Along with his extensive knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, Mr. Kowal has become very involved in defending the rights of Creditors.
